A historic family home, welcoming guests again

Located a short walk from the island’s UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site – the gold mines and historic Kyomachi area – Aikawa House is a home away from home for travelers exploring this captivating island.
Our careful renovation has modernised the design palate whilst keeping the traditional natural materials found throughout the house.
Boasting 3 large bedrooms, a communal dining area and a sumptuous living room, the property is able to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests – perfect for groups of friends or family gatherings.
The house comes fully-equipped with kitchen items, a washing machine, off-street parking and fast wifi.

A sea view can be enjoyed from the front bedroom on the second floor, while two additional bedrooms have views of the forest and a local shrine.
A private inner garden provides space to enjoy alfresco dining, sundowners and good conversation.
